J. Andres Carreras was born in 1991 and is a pro surfer from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Though only 21 years of age, Carreras has been surfing for 9 years. When he’s not surfing, he loves lobster diving, art, photography and cooking.

He is sponsored by West Surfboards,Stay Covered and a New Clothing line by the name of Cloud Kicker™ Clothing.

“Cloud Kicker™ is a lifestyle brand. Whether you are a skater, snowboarder, artist, DJ, or sneaker head, mediocrity doesn't earn you respect. Those who lead the pack are the ones who push the limits. In the future, Carrera wants the brand to be available world-wide with Cloud Kicker™ stores in a few select cities. The brand will eventually offer a vast collection of cut-and-sew items and have the capital to sponsor large-scale events.

As for Carreras’ surfing career, he wants to be able to travel the world surfing, competing and going on different exotic trips. His ultimate goal is to make it as close to the top 50 as possible in the Qualifying Series of the World Tour.
