Heineken Cube by Muti Randolph

September 10, 2015 10:00 AM

“Art is about creating interesting experiences and should not be limited to museums and galleries,” says the Brazilian multimedia artist Muti Randolph.

Muti has never failed to amaze, the artist has conducted major installations around the world - to name a few the D-Edge nightclubs in São Paulo and Campo Grande, conceptualized and built Galeria Melissa in São Paulo and Coachella 2011. Muti showcased a seamless visual setting “Mirage” that led the audience to feel the music with sound and visuals.

Muti is noted as one of the visionaries of digital art, animation, and 3D graphics in Brazil. In his recent projects he explores the relation of time and space through music and interactive generative video using custom designed software and hardware. The artist known for reinventing and remolding the strokes between different fields to create graphic and sculptural designs for sets, nightclubs, and runways. “I explored the shift between opacity and transparency, visibility and reflection, and the wide gamut of sensation, illusion and confusion that can be stimulated by such shifts,” Muti Randolph.

Muti thrives on letting his audience feel and be involved in his art instillation. Recently the artist created a new art installation “Heineken Cube.”

This interactive installation, which audience will be able to walk through, is a giant cube made up of lights that react to your every move with flashes of color, transforming the atmosphere to fictional dialogues where the audience are able to visualize and capture the moments in pictures.
