Balmain F/W2016 Campaign: WOLVES by Kanye West

August 03, 2016 4:00 PM

“From the moment I heard that song, I knew we had to use it for this campaign,” Olivier Rousteing proclaims. He is, of course, speaking about “Wolves,” a deep, minimalist song from Kanye West’s latest album, The Life of Pablo.

Always one to follow his instincts, Olivier quickly organized a music video shoot directed by Steven Klein. Featuring Kanye West, Alessandra Ambrosio, Jourdan Dunn and many more famous faces, the result is a collaboration combining fashion, dance and music in a revolutionary way.

Accompanied throughout by the powerful voice of Kanye West, the video presents the swishing silk tassels, sparkling jackets, and ruffled lace dresses of Balmain’s fall/winter 2016 collection. It definitely did justice to the sublime beauty of Rousteing’s designs.

Kudos to Olivier Rousteing for once again mixing the worlds of celebrity, art, music, and high fashion in a magical way.
