British luxury shoe and accessory designer, Charlotte Olympia, is having her childhood dream come true.

On September 6 2016, her very own Barbie doll and capsule collection were released to the public for purchase. Charlotte was able to design and create the whole vision, mixing her playful patterns to make the perfect collaboration with one of the most iconic figures in the world.

This aesthetic Barbie was inspired by the brand’s original feminine design and old Hollywood glamour, mirroring the 1959 look. The doll is dressed in a two-piece, leopard-print outfit, accented by red platform pumps, a red leather handbag, and red gloves. Matching red lipstick is applied to her face enveloped in voluminous waves of hair. The Barbie is accompanied by Charlotte Olympia’s most distinguishable designs– the brand’s leopard mascot "Bruce" stands next to the doll holding a Charlotte Olympia shopping bag.

But the glamour doesn’t stop there. The shoebox includes the Banana bag, Pandora clutch box, Eve platform sandals, Kitty flats, gold spider web earrings, ivory cat-eye sunglasses, and a dust bag.

The collection also showcases two iconic clutches: Barbie Vanina, a pink leather clutch decorated with a gold Barbie logo clasp, and Barbie World, a blush clutch box containing magnetic miniature accessories that would be found in Barbie’s very own dressing room.

The Barbie doll, Barbie Girl platforms, and the Barbie World clutch are still available to purchase. Check out the full collaboration exclusively at Charlotte Olympia stores,, and
