CHRISTIAN DIOR 2015 READY-TO-WEAR
Fashion can be innovative, it can make a statement, it can capture the sentiment of an era, or it can just be downright cool. Dior’s Fall 2015 collection is most certainly the latter. Absolutely wearable, varied, and utterly sophisticated, the designer’s Paris Fashion Week offering was a pleasant break from some other more avant garde entries. Sky-high boots in all different shades, bold yet comprehensible prints, and appealing coats characterized the sure-to-be-successful line. There were three body suits in almost-camo prints that were dazzling, a number of fur-coats with light shades of added color, and suits that stunned. The standout look was the final one; a red and white dress with a flourish that leaned to one side. It was a conversation piece, yet elegant enough to pull off just about anywhere with the right level of confidence. The accessories almost stole the show, though; some of the models had bold sunglasses with reflective lenses in wild colors; I desperately want a pair for myself. Check out the collection above. Enjoy!
