September 04, 2014 5:40 PM

NICOLAS GHESQUIERE’s first campaign as the creative director for LOUIS VUITTON’s women’s line, “SERIES 1,” has made its debut in many forms. Starting with a series of web videos produced by world-renowned photographers ANNIE LEIBOVITZ, JUERGEN TELLER and BRUCE WEBER, NICOLAS showcased the line’s constructed structures and bold colors with the help of cinematic storytelling mediums.

Now set to show at New York Fashion Week, NICOLAS attempt to personify and physically actualize the concept of innovation and progress will make it first walk down the runway. In response to his inspiration for the line, NICOLAS has said he considers “SERIES 1” and his work with ANNIE, JUERGEN, and BRUCE as a “way to bring together an artistic family which I feel close to.”
