Madonna's Ghosttown Custom Made Wardrobe by Chrome Hearts
The apocalypse is here. Fire is burning through the streets, nobody to be found at first glance, but wait—a flawless figure is surviving with grace— B***h, she’s Madonna.
Madonna’s newest music video from her single “Ghosttown” plays out a believable version of the apocalypse. Madonna, not only is believable in the role of the lasting women figure, but her wardrobe of beaten-up beauty makes Madonna look like a modern day super hero, rather than any ordinary survivor.
Like any lasting lady, Madonna only wears the best, she is sporting a handmade gown with an added cape, which gives off those super hero vibes. Co-Owner of Chrome Hearts, Laurie Lynn Stark, worked with stylist, B Akerlund, on the custom-made costume for Madonna’s Ghosttown music video.
The jacket is made from hand-distressed leather and styled with a double-breasted and fitted floor-length jacket, also known as the cape, accented with an unfinished train. The jackets unfinished look makes the beautiful wardrobe fit into the aggressive apocalyptic period.
The corset worn by Madonna in the video is also made with leather, and detailed with sterling silver bolo tips on the corset laces.
Chrome Hearts is an American luxury brand, which specializes in silver, yellow gold and white gold jewelry, leather, cashmere clothing and ebony wood furniture. The brand as a whole has a gothic-chic style.
We can only hope this is not the last Chrome Hearts custom-made costume we will see Madonna wearing. Because when thinking about the end of the world, Madonna is sure to be taking over, and looking fabulous while doing so.
