ACL 2014 MUSIC FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS 1: LANA DEL REY

October 10, 2014 4:38 PM

It is always fun to go for a picnic, hike, swim, or maybe even cycle at Zilker Park in Austin -- but every year since 2002, the park turn into one of the largest festival venues full of music fans the first two weeks into October. Beneath deep blue skies and amidst the glorious glow of poplar trees, a variety of talented musicians performed live at Austin City Limits Music Festival in Zilker Park in Austin, Texas on October 3-5. The two-weekend live music event entertained by an intermixture of performers like Eminem, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Major Lazer, Jimmy Cliff, Broken Bells, tUnE-yArDs, Rebelution, Kongos, Broods and many more, provided music lovers with a delightful festival experience. One of our favorites, LANA DEL REY, performed several songs on the first weekend of the festival at the Samsung Galaxy Stage. “BORN TO DIE” was one of the memorable moments with her signature sentimental voice united her audience. Delicate Del Ray vocals and the swelling chords engaged her audience during her performance. Just as her songs were beautiful, as was her wardrobe. She glammed  up in a tropical light green striped chiffon dress that reminded us of summer in Cavo, Mexico, and a princess-lined frilly skirt that matched stunningly with her long brunette locks. LANA DEL REY's first showcase was an extravaganza, as we all agreed we were jollied up by her great spirit and her dress collections from her wardrobe. Let's keep eyes on her next performance at the second weekend of ACL this upcoming weekend!

LANA DEL REY's List of Songs:

“Cola”

Body Electric”

“Blue Jeans”

“West Coast”

“Ultraviolence”

“Born To Die”

“Summertime Sadness”

“Video Games”

“Ride”

“Million Dollar Man”

“National Anthem”
